I asked about advantages of using VBScript. The feedback I got was inadequate considering that advantages of JavaScript or DHTML were given. I did not want a comparison. I could have been given some good industrial examples regarding use of the script.

VBScript includes better string manipulation mathods, JScript/JavaScript has better math methods, on serverside I use a mix depending on what I'm doing, as the code that is created by the ServerSide script is compatible with any htmlbrowser, unless you make it write a client side script
