Comments:
There is a line at the bottom of the article that I would like to understand better. The page states, "Several servers send a non-standard value back as flastmod, which can result in a date of 1/1/1970 (plus or minus timezones.)" I am expriencing the results listed above, but I'm not sure I understand the explaination. What I really want to know though is what is the solution? I don't want to see January 1, 1970 GMT on my pages as the last updated value. Thanks.
