Thank you, in general, for sharing insights about using Javascripts.

However, when I tried test files with the codes given in response to Q1114, I got an error "opener is null or not an object."

Could you re-address Q1114 in particular and the 'null or not an object' issue in general?

I have also encountered this message with codes I have written from scratch, and I'm not sure how to resolve this problem. I am a relative newbie with JS, but I try to understand it, not just copy-paste. Thanks in advance for any help you can give on this.
