Feedback: Microsoft Visual InterDev 6.0
Feedback on: Sent by Ben Allen on November 14, 1998 at 15:28:11: - feedback #50
Noticed that you listed the price of InterDev at $500. Maybe you should add a note that students (in the UK at least) can get InterDev, along with Visual Basic, Visual C++ and J++, and FoxPro on a student license for about £130.Ben

<QUOTE>Rapid Application Development gives you tools to do what you want faster. </QUOTE> This isn't RAD. RAD is a development "technique". You don't need tools to use RAD. RAD is different to the typical Waterfall development lifecycle - where one phase of developmemt follows another in sequence. RAD development includes things such as: RAD workshops. IDE tools can assist with the "rapid" development of applications - but this is different to RAD.
