but the second option where the text is placed in a separate form on the same page doesn't seem to work when viewed in Netscape (version 4) particularly if the forms are displayed in a table. It does work in Internet Explorer! Can you explain this for me?

I tried it with IE5.5 and Netscape 4.7 and it does not work with either.
