I needed the same type of script for my web server index.html page...I want it to close as a link is clicked and the link opens the new window as the index.html closes.This script you have here modified with my link information didnt work.Could I have entered something incorectly or left something out?

ok, so that's how to set a page to timeout...but...what if you don't want the page/popup window to timeout until the person clicks another link on another page? (and isn't the previous pop-up window). This might be what the previous responder was looking for?
