Q4017 Help! My Netscape 4 at times freezes when I visit a page with Java Applets

As compared to Internet Explorer 4, Netscape Navigator 4 takes substantially longer to start the Java Virtual Machine for the first time - This may appear to many as a frozen page However, in my experience, Netscape is silghtly faster once the JVM has been loaded.
