: Hi

: What can i do if i write a non-ssi perl/cgi counter? I tried to write with using FLY, but the IE didn't like "content-type:images/gif"

: Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The alternatives to ssi, perl/cgi are java and javascript, or you can use a publicly available counter service (the downside to this is that they tend to be pretty slow). Run a search for "counter" or "web page statistics" and you should be able to find something. To use a javascript counter, start looking at http://www.cyberlab.ch/javascript (I think I remember seeing a few there).....If you want java, look at http://www.gamelan.com/
