You can't repopulate the array after setting it to null. It's no longer an array.
This seems to work, but I have no idea if it is the "best way"
myArray = new Array();
Are there any javascript gurus out there that can answer the original question about the *best way*?

This actually seems to destroy the array completely rather than clearing it.
