Very usefull article for me, however, how can I prevent an object from being moved twice? IE make a copy of the same object if it's dragged 'n dropped on the same target...thank you..

what is the point of having the drop and drag effect, when you have to write an almost different syntax for each version ie one for NS and another for IE4. why can't the w3c just come up eith a standard?

I can't get the ondrop event to fire to save my life. Your page works but when I try to do it on my own page it won't work. Why. I'm using vbscript.

Hmmm. Should this script work with IE 5.1.3 for Mac OSX?

I get an "Undefined is not an object" error when I try to drag the items.

Would love to see it work on my system!

Thanks!
