<networking> (DLSw) A standard for transporting IBM Systems Network Architecture (SNA) and network basic input/output system (NetBIOS) traffic over an Internet protocol network.

Initially, in 1992, DLSw was proprietary to IBM. It was submitted to the IETF as RFC 1434 in 1993, later updated by RFC 1795.
