I currently hang my hat in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and graduated this spring with my B.Sc. in Biology. I completed my studies part time for the 4 years, while I was doing the most logical and natural things for any biologist, working at an insurance company.

And just to further confuse the issue, I'm currently studying computer programming at a local college at nights. I've been an avid computer hobbyist since the age of twelve, and have recently started building and networking them together, attempting to get Windows and Linux to live happily ever after, and occasionally programming something useful on them.

In the last year, I've been teaching myself Java, C/C++, Visual Basic, JavaScript, and Perl. I plan to pursue a job where I can play with a computer all day, and not have my boss constantly coming by and asking why I've been busy programming Tic Tac Toe in Microsoft Access, and not photocopying the 1,000 page report he desperately needs for his important meeting that he is already late for.

Aside from putting my optometrist's children through college by spending hours squinting at a 14" computer monitor, I also enjoy playing bridge, pool, and meeting strange and unusual people at parties (you know who you are, and I apologize, once again).
